The New Jersey Performing Arts Center has a unique program providing access to the arts and high-quality professional performances each year, distributing thousands of tickets to diverse communities with constituencies of limited means. Community-based 501(c)3 social service organizations in Newark and surrounding areas are eligible for $6 tickets to a wide selection of performances. The New Jersey Performing Arts Center works closely with community-based social service organizations to participate in the NJPAC Ticket Subsidy Fund, which will provide seating in all sections at $6 per ticket to selected events throughout the schedule of events. Special consideration is given to agencies within a 20-mile radius of the Arts Center's hometown of Newark, and to organizations serving diverse communities with constituencies of limited means. During the course of many seasons, the fund has provided low-cost access to NJPAC performances to more than 10,000 children, adults, senior citizens and people with disabilities.  DIAL-Center for Independent Living  as a community organization has partnered with NJPAC to distribute hundreds of tickets to individuals with disabilities since starting the program.
